About Dallas Foodie

"Dallas Foodie"
“Dallas Foodie” is the most-followed restaurant reviewer in Dallas-Fort Worth. CBS named the account as one of the “10 Best DFW Foodies To Follow On Twitter”, saying, “Dallas Foodie is the number one food-spotting source in the area. This account tweets photos of beautiful food, luscious drinks, great food deals, interesting food events and engages in lots of fun food conversations.” That was back in 2012, and its rankings have only gotten better. In 2015, Thrillist ranked Dallas Foodie as one of "The 20 Best Dallas Instagram Accounts" amongst all food and non-food accounts in Dallas. The Dallas Morning News' GuideLive website also listed her in "7 Instagrams that D-FW foodies should follow" and said, "No one stacks up quite like @Dallas_Foodie”. In 2016, the rankings got even more exclusive when CW33 named Dallas Foodie as one of “The Only 7 Dallas ‎Instagrammers You Absolutely ‎Must Follow”, describing it as, “They serve you all the #foodporn you can eat.”

Dallas Foodie is also the author of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau 2013 Dallas Visitors Guide Book dining and entertainment sections. In this book, Dallas Foodie reveals the ten best places to eat, drink, play, and shop in each of nine popular Dallas neighborhoods. The guide is available in print or online at VisitDallas.com. Dallas Foodie also occasionally guest blogs for popular Dallas websites, such as ILiveinDallas.com.

Dallas Foodie is best known for her daily iPhone food photography and commentary posted to her six social media networks. This makes Dallas Foodie more of a “social media food journalist” than a "food blogger". She has been relentlessly seeking the best food and drinks in the Dallas - Ft. Worth metroplex since before she created “Dallas_Foodie” on Twitter in August 2009. In 2015, several local contributors joined the Dallas Foodie team; they sign their posts with their initials at the end.
